ANNOUNCEMENT (November 7, 2025)
The 2025/2026 Training Year at Skeena has been going so well! We have already attended many community events, trained for marksmanship and competed in our biathlon (run & shoot) competition. We continue to meet every Tuesday for our regular training (630pm to 930pm) and have optional training on Wednesday and Thursday nights (630pm to 830pm). As always we welcome any NEW or INTERESTED members to come down and visit during those times to learn more about the program. Cadets is a great way to get your youth involved in extra-curricular activities from September 2025 to June 2026 and even through the summer, if they are accepted to summer camp. We are always actively accepting new recruits, between the ages of 12 to 18yrs, who want to try new things, stay active, get involved with their community and make new friends! This year we will be out sailing, boating, doing marksmanship, community service activities, playing sports, learning important life skills like teamwork, leadership and mentorship, and so much more! If your youth is not old enough to join us, don’t forget to check out the Northumberland Navy League Cadets who meet in our building on Mondays, for youth aged 9 to 12yrs. Both programs are completely free and are funded by our local Northumberland Navy League Branch.
If you are interested in joining or have any questions at all, please send us an email: [email protected].
We look forward to showing you all the great opportunities cadets has to offer!
